Welcome . . .
to Hofmann Simmental Farms. We take pride in
building a herd that produces quality bulls and females (red
and black) for commercial cattlemen and purebred breeders
alike.
The HSF program, utilizing AI breeding and embryo
transfer exclusively, is based upon using proven AI sires
with particular emphasis placed on maternal traits.
Optimum growth and disposition are also given high priority.
It's that philosophy that defines our motto:
"Proof + Performance = Profit"

Thank you for visiting our site. We welcome your
questions and comments! |
A few words about our Red program:
With the increasing popularity of red Simmentals, we wanted
to
share with you that our program has always been
heavily
influenced by red genetics--it's not just a passing fad to
us! Our base cow herd is influenced by the great red
bulls of the breed, such as
DS Pollfleck 809, Bold Leader, Bold Future, and BOZ
Redcoat,
just to name a few. We continue to keep red genetics
at the forefront of our operation.

Why honestbulls.com?
You may have arrived at our site from the url honestbulls.com. We know our name
isn’t easy to spell (most spell it Hoffman). And folks don’t always get
“Simmental” right, either. Then there’s the question of whether Simmental is
plural or singular . . . you get the idea. In thinking about how we could
simplify our site name and make it easy to remember (without changing our last
name), we came up with honestbulls.com. Honest, meaning: real world, what you
see is what you get, not overfed or over fluffed, etc., etc.
But all of that makes a pretty lousy web name too.
Does using honestbulls.com mean we consider ourselves the exclusive source for
honest cattle? Not at all. We can think of lots of operations this
would fit . . . but most of them have names that are easy to spell. |
